Mindful creation: What does it mean? Why is it useful? How can it benefit us? This is what we’ll discuss in this short episode, as we start our wondering phase. Wondering, as you know from the Think Zing book, and the podcast series is our first step towards understanding.

If mindful creation could be something that we can bring to a virtual x-ray machine, it will show us a radiography of an inner process which moves us continuously through seven states of being. Therefore, there are seven quite instantaneous phases that work symbiotically, in ONE decision mechanism.

At least, this is how I see it! Allow me, please to remind you, once again, the phases, as I see them!

The phases are:

  1. Wondering
  2. Conceiving
  3. Receiving
  4. Perceiving
  5. Filtering
  6. Opening
  7. Understanding.

This – according to my observations –  is mindful creation; in other words mindful thinking.

Just their name alone, tell us the functionality of each of these phases. They are more like gears; therefore, one’s movement moves all of them.

So, mindful thinking kicks in when we implement it consciously, in specific situations. Thus, we make productive decisions for ourselves and for the environment we are in. In this manner, through mindful thinking, we become useful, efficient and effective. Furthermore – and this I find to be vitally important –  we get the right things done.

There are 3 immediate benefits of mindful creation.

  1. It elevates our status in any circumstance by making active our sense of self-worth.
  2. We develop and master our communication skills.
  3. And, we naturally start managing our time in an effective and efficient manner.

Thus, we bring value into our lives and into any situation we may find ourselves in. However, the simplest and the clearest definition I could find, for my taste, is the following:

The ability to do what you need to do when you need to do it, to get things done!

In other words, mindful creation – mindful thinking – is a fundamental life process; an intentional journey into your unseen inner mechanics. Because the prize for taking the journey is self-mastery – you, mastering everything in your life – I am assuming you want to tune in.
